Viability Scan

6-10 Weeks

The viability scan is a pregnancy scan that is usually carried out at 6-10 weeks of pregnancy. This is the first scan performed during the pregnancy and is sometimes also called the dating scan.

Nuchal Scan

11-13 weeks

An NT scan is an ultrasound done between 11 weeks and 13 w 6d to measure fluid at the back of the baby’s neck. It helps assess the risk of chromosomal abnormalities, like Down syndrome. The scan is often combined with a blood test for more accuracy.

Anomaly Scan

20 Weeks

An anomaly scan takes a close look at your baby and your womb (uterus) at about 20 weeks of pregnancy.

Follow-up or 4D Scan Scan

14 - 37 Weeks

A follow-up obstetric scan between 14 and 37 weeks evaluates fetal growth, development, and overall health. The fetal specialist examines fetal size, movement, heartbeat, amniotic fluid, and placental health, while also assessing the baby’s position and identifying potential complications such as restricted growth or uterine abnormalities.

Naheeda Osman is a highly skilled and experienced Sonographer with a distinguished career spanning several years in the medical field. Her deep commitment to academics is reflected in her extensive experience across both private and public healthcare sectors, both locally and internationally.

Specialising in obstetric ultrasound, Naheeda has a keen interest in fetal medicine. She has received specialized training under renowned fetal medicine experts and holds accreditation in first-trimester screening from the Fetal Medicine Foundation, alongside certifications in maternal and fetal care.

Naheeda works collaboratively with fertility specialists, fetal medicine experts, obstetricians, and genetic counsellors to diagnose various pathologies and provide patients with personalised treatment plans.
